Venture Leaders Fintech 2017
The venture leaders jury has selected the first Fintech Team of the venture leaders history – the ‘Swiss National Startup Team’.
The 10 selected entrepreneurs reflect the acceleration of the Swiss fintech scene in the recent years and the impressive quality of its startups. They took part in a high-powered business and financing roadshow in New York City which offered market exposure, feedback from investors and experts, and hands-on business development.

European FinTech Award 2017
Carbon Delta won the Risk, Intelligence & Security award at the European Fintech Awards 2017!
For this award, European FinTech companies were nominated by stakeholders, users and experts. Our co-founder, Elke Schaper, pitched in front of the panel of judges which consisted of seasoned investors, academics, innovation leads and bankers with an extensive track record in the rapid changing world of finance.

UBS Social Innovators 2016
Over 1200 social enterprises applied to UBS Social Innovators 2016. 34 took part in regional bootcamps and CARBON DELTA was selected to take part in the regional Finals.
In July 2016, UBS launched a search for Social Innovators in three regions (Switzerland, Europe Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific) who would benefit the most from access to the unique network and expertise of UBS, the world’s leading wealth manager.

CARBON DELTA is proud to have won the seif Award for Entrepreneurial Innovation! 292 social enterprises from all over the world applied to win one of four prizes in different categories.
The seif Awards for Social Entrepreneurship represent the largest social business plan competition in German speaking Europe. They award projects that approach social challenges with an innovative business model.

Venture Competition 2016
Carbon Delta is the winner of the European finals of the Climate-KIC Venture Competition 2016 and will become an official partner of the Climate-KIC community.
The Venture Competition takes place over nine country heats, in which Europe’s most promising start-ups are filtered out. The 15 finalists are selected based upon their potential to become successful commercial entities capable of mitigating or adapting to climate change.

MassChallenge accelerates over 300 startups per year across accelerators in five countries. This year’s MassChallenge Switzerland class was selected from more than 450 applicants across a diverse range of industries in 55 countries.

Swiss Fintech Award
CARBON DELTA was selected as one of the top ten startups in the competition out of 50 companies that applied for the award.
The Swiss Fintech award, an initiative by the Finanz & Wirtschaft Forum, supports Switzerland’s Fintech startup ecosystem and promotes regional development. A jury selected the top ten businesses out of over 60 applications.

CARBON DELTA was named one of the top six climate efficiency startups and won a one month bootcamp as well as a trip to Silicon Valley in San Francisco.
The initiative SAFT challenges early stage startups that act in the fields of smart cities, energy efficiency and distributed generation. With the challenge they want to advance Switzerland’s transition to a sustainable energy system by 2050.

Swiss Cleantech Company
Five companies, among which is Carbon Delta, competed for the title of Swiss Cleantech Company of the Year.
The business association swisscleantech honored its its first ever Company of the Year in Bern. After the presentations from the five nominees, the audience chose the first ever swisscleantech Company of the Year.

CARBON DELTA was one of 10 startups that have been awarded an attractive presentation stand at the 2015 Swiss Energy and Climate Summit (SwissECS).
The SwissECS is Switzerland’s leading conference for energy and climate issues. Every year, over 800 decision-makers take part in the two-day event.

CARBON DELTA was a stage one winner of the 2015 innovate4climate challenge. A total of 25 business concepts were evaluated.
Innovate4climate (I4C) is a joint initiative developed by Climate-KIC and its affiliate partners WWF Switzerland and Impact Hub Zürich. I4C is the Swiss implementation of the Climate-KIC accelerator and comprises of a variety of initiatives, including a three stage accelerator programme.
